Mindfulness is the practice whereby a person is intentionally aware of his or her thoughts and actions in the present moment, non-judgmentally. Mindfulness is applied to both bodily actions and the mind's own thoughts and feelings.
Mindfulness or being mindful is being aware of your present moment. You are not judging, reflecting or thinking. You are simply observing the moment in which you find yourself. Moments are like a breath. Each breath is replaced by the next breath. You're there with no other purpose than being awake and aware of that moment.
Here is a Japanese mindfulness puzzle: "Wherever you go, there you are."

Definitely...
Thoughts and thinkings always overshadow our life in so many way, shape and form.
Cuz basically, humans are complex and we need some betterment and furtherance in our life. We don't want to get caught in the mold where we can't get out, do we? We never want to be imperfect towards others. We always want to be perfect in every way. We defy and refuse viciously all the imperfections around us.
Since then.. every human being have their own thoughts which often dominate our life, stiflingly. Then from this point on; all the roots of judgment and accusation from others derived.

Yes, our thoughts can dominate our lives very powerfully. Thoughts are like what is written on the computer screen in front of you. They are the interface between the inner self of person and the world outside. Thoughts tend to perpetuate and then assume a life of their own once initiated, regardless of the fact that we may cause distress. There are certain situational thoughts that we simply cannot get rid of and then there are those subtle thoughts that always try to elude us, dodge us, appearing and disappearing at will. Illusions of unexplained sadness can be caused by few fleeting thoughts drifting thought our mind casually that can leave us in agony hours or even day at the end; and then those subtle and hard-to-catch thoughts that leave in their wake unexpected feeling of elation and cheerfulness that we want so much to lat forever. The world of thoughts is spontaneous, subtle, deep, and magical; it can be wild and unfriendly; always essential, influential and very effective.
We do not like to check, or check upon our thoughts very often. We like them to be flowing peacefully, gracefully and harmoniously making us feel great, thoughtfully insightful, relax and wise without a hitch. We like to believe that all thoughts belong exclusively to us; that they are the produce of our inner goodness; that nothing can penetrate the sanctities of our inner temple where thought reside like prayers or powerful curses; as if they all come from the our essential inner truth. We tend to know our thoughts as ourselves. The essential stillness or thoughtless calm behind the thinking mind often stays out of our sight. We often do not see the difference between thought provoked by what goes in the outside world, and thoughts of intuitive callings of our inner self. The fast and unpredictable rapids of thoughts rummaging through our mind often carry us away. Thinking could be a skill of the highest order that most of us are in need of.

Memories dominate., they ebb and flow. some are like shells brought to shore from the ocean deep. we pick them up all along the shore. Yes, memories dominate life. And, one day as the life we know is consumed , we too, become another shell tossed in the oceans deep.Stirred up by the currents of deep, to surface once again. to answer a call, tend to a need and but for a moment it seems, we live again. Actually, yes. Thoughts dominate the lives of every living thing. Without thoughts, you wouldn't be alive. Or you would at least be brain dead.

It all depends on the thought. If I have a date with a pretty girl, then, yes. If I am going to see my bank manager - no.
