If I bring a girl home from a night at the bar, I will be fine (erect)when messing around and stuff but as soon as it becomes clear we will be going all the way, my guy goes limp... But this is only if it is the first time with the girl. I have gone as far as to buying viagra softabs and pop one earlier in the night, so if oppotunity arises, my guy works. However, if I hook up with this girl again, there is no problem even if I am drunk. Why does this happen??

I have similar problem the first time, everything goes fine during the foreplay, then kinda goes soft during the actual intercourse. Pacifia1977 pretty much covered it with the various stressors about size, performance, etc. and those are the kinds of things I was worry about.

Thing is I don't drink so I'm always sober the whole time and I think one of the reasons why your having more problems is because of your drinking. There's been research showing that high blood alcohol levels can cause sexual disfunction while drunk.

I remember Dr. Drew saying this, but I can't remember if it was on his recent show or years ago when he was on that MTV show with Adam Carrola. He may have said it on both shows, maybe that's why it stuck in my head.

In addition to getting to know her better before hopping into bed, you may also want to cut back on the drinking (maybe only 1-2, enough for a buzz and feeling relaxed, but not enough to be drunk) and see if things improve.

Most likely the reason that you seem to have a problem when it is a first time with a new woman is mostly likely due to stress. You want to impress her with your "loving skills" and you may have an issue like most men do with their penis believing that it may not be big enough - when really size does not matter- and most likely you are of average size and such - but it is the skill of the lover that makes sex enjoyable.

Men feel that most of the time that first time sex should be a great experience of their ability. In other words that when they have sex with a woman that the first time should be so great that she would never want to forget. However, coming from personal experience-the first time with anyone-male or female-is usually very akward since you or the person that you are with do not know what your likes and dislikes are.

You are most likely stressing yourself out before hand that can take a toll on your erection. Just relax-and perhaps strike a conversation up about what your and her likes and dislikes are as you and the woman begin so that you can know as well as she will know what your likes and dislikes are.

This might help with the stress since you will have more knowledge with what will excite her and you will be more comfortable with the experience.

Pure psychology! Your brain is thinking too much, probably things like how you would perform, or anxiety, or even weather you will manage without the viagra.. My advice, I know its hard.. but try and think less next time. Just let it happen.

It your penis's way of telling you that you are about to make a mistake!

You seriously need to separate lovemaking from drinking. And, you should listen to "your guy" more.
