I think it's not addiction it's just you trying to put off working. It's a common thing.

its called Interent Addiction Disorder (IAD) and is very common you should learn to limit yourself to so much internet access a day, it can be very addicitve especially when you are new to it, chat rooms seem to be the biggest culprit.
its no good being addicted to anything, it does you no good!! someone i know had a business go bust cos she spent so much time chatting on the internet.
it is very addictive, try and get out of the habit a bit.
the addicitve side of the interenet is usually the first stages of using it, hopefully it should go past that and you return to a normal level of internet usage
also the internet is now the biggest cause of marriage/relationship break ups.... for obvious reasons

uhmmm not addicted but dedicated online game player ^^, I also work on a company that utilize the internet and one of my past time is surfing the net so am I addicted? I guess I'm in the borderline ^^,

yes i was adctd 5 years...i remember i had my C++OO exam in the morning and i could not help getting rid of the internet...luckly i was gd at that language there for survived without studying a word.
its gd fun though. :)

yes i am and it really a bad habit but i love it so much i dont know what i would do without it. and if my laptop messed up on me i would probley be commited to a crazy house.
