Hitting her would probably be a very bad move.
Why not move out? It's a safer option.
As you're asking the question there are two possibilities, either you're a complete b*st*rd and deserve the nagging ... or you're a decent person who's at the end of his tether. I'll assume it's the second.
(If it's the first, do the woman a favour and leave her.)
Has your wife always been like this? Has it come on over time?
When someone gets really critical it usually means they've done something wrong. It could be one big thing, it could be a whole load of little things.
The trouble is that once someone starts nagging that's doing something wrong in itself, so it just compounds the problem.

my husband always threatend to hit me... im pregnant... how do you think that makes me feel... your wife is only nagging you cause she doesnt trust you... if you hit her, she can go to the authorities... and for the record, i am afraid of my husband.... dont ever get physical when your angry... just let her no she can trust you..... thats the only reason why we women nag... are you being faithful????

nagging is no excuse to hit a woman ever!!!!!!!
My dad used to hit my mum, shes a nervous reck now, both me and my brother witnessed it, and has affected us all.
Any man that would even THINK about hitting a woman is a total waste of space!

Just do a Reg Perrin!! Leave your clothes on the beach and do a runner. Hitting her will only make her nag more......

Don't react to her nagging. Women will do this and that's their nature. Deal with it with kindness and patience, and she'll recognize this as true strength.
Don't be a loser like men who don't have the understanding to deal with it. Believe it or not, feminists won't like this advice.

nagging is annoying but you can't hit her, trust me you will end up worse off for doing it.

please do not put your hands on her, perhaps you should seek couseling b4 this escalates into something awful & irrelevant.. did she just become a nag? women tend to become "parent like" once in a serious relationship/marriage, i know it can be frustrating & annoying, maybe the both of you should seek counseling?? it could be her nerves or either she is on the controling side, but its nothing that the two of you cant work through & out!!! all it takes is a lil effort & alot of patience..
