Let's see...
Juliet "Romeo & Juliet" twice
Lady Capulet "Romeo and Juliet" twice
Beatrice "Much Ado About Nothing"
Kate "Taming of the Shrew"
Viola "Twelfth Night"
Goneril "King Lear"
Lady Macbeth "Macbeth"
Flute "A Midsummer Night's Dream"
Mistress Quickly "The Merry Wives of Windsor"
Isabella "Measure for Measure"
Adriana "A Comedy of Errors"
Alas, I have never had the opportunity to perform in "Hamlet" or
"Richard III" or "A Winter's Tale" or "The Tempest" but, I'm still hopeful!

My wife Dorothy and I are founder members of the Dungle Theatre Society. We regularly stage Shakespeare plays in the open-air here our village during the Summer. I just love Henry V. I insist that as founder member of our band of actors that I take that role.
This year we persuaded Lord Ponsonby to let us stage the play in the grounds of his castle. It was a marvellous backdrop to my speech before the walls of Harfleur. I launched into the speech “Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more; Or close the wall up with our English dead….”
The audience were with me all the way. I could see they were enthralled by the speech. They were indeed, “standing like greyhounds in the slips, Straining upon the start.”
Then just as I was crying “God for Harry, England, and Saint George!“ The sword, which I was withdrawing from its scabbard, caught between my legs and tripped me up. I fell head first into the moat. Then because of my armour, the mud and reeds, I struggled for sometime to get out of the moat.
Once the laughter had declined, I was greeted with tremendous applause. What a wonderful audience.
Hope this helps.

I have played Maria in "Twelfth Night," Portia in "Julius Caesar," the Nurse in "Romeo and Juliet," Eleanor in "King John," and Beatrice in "Much Ado About Nothing." My favorite roles by far were Maria and Beatrice. Beatrice was fun because she reminds me a lot of myself, and her lines are very witty. My best friend was Benedick, so we had a lot of fun staging our verbal wars. Maria will always be my most memorable role because I was required to kiss Sir Toby, and I had not had my first kiss in real life before then, much less a stage kiss. The guy who was Sir Toby was new to our group, so he did not know that I had never been kissed. So, we were doing our first blocking practice, and when that part came up, he kissed me. Needless to say, I was shocked, and mortifyed when the director had the gaul to say, "That is the face that I want to see! Now kiss him back!"

We did the play Pyramis and Thisbe as seen in "A Midsummer's Night Dream." I played Peter Quince and the whole thing was hysterical. The audience loved it.

I played Don John the Bastard in Much Ado About Nothing. It's because I bear a striking resemblance to Keanu Reeves. ;-)

'Touchstone' As You Like It. I was the only native English speaker, the rest of the cast were American - we held a wake for the English language.
