My computer is always having overheating problems. I built it myself, and it has 5 fans in it...should I have them all pointing one way, or what would be the best way to keep my video card from overheating all the time! (No, nothing is overclocked)

Typically, you want to set the case fans as stated in one of the previous answers. Your power supply in the case is going to be blowing out the back of the case so, it only makes sense to have the case fan on the back of the case blowing out. A lot of times you can get away with only the one on the back unless you run into issues with heat. The Fans on the back of the unit will pull air in from the front and draw it across the cooling fins on the CPU. Fans are cheap, so money isn't an issue for the extra fan, but noise level is a factor for some of us. The important thing to remember, no matter how many fans you have is to keep the intake and exhaust slots free of dust and buildup. That will prevent the efficient air flow required to cool the system. As far as the Video Card, they sell small fans you can attach to the video card itself to blow down on the chip/heatsink. Hope this helps...

Have some blow in and others blow out...it's best to have good air flow. Put the ones bringing in air in the front and expelling the air in the back...that will create air flow directly over the motherboard. You might want to get a better cooler for your video card, if you don't have a fan I suggest getting one for it.

You have to create an in and out airflow inside the box. Front ones in and back ones out.
