I'm in that horrible situation of having my precious ipod with all my songs, but no itunes anymore (was left on an old work PC). I've been told that igadget software (used to be ipod Agent) is good to transfer the songs off your ipod and onto your PC (and prevents your ipod getting wiped which would happen if I just plugged it straight into itunes). Has anyone used igadget? and any recommendations on where to buy it from? I see I can also get free trial downloads from some places which is probably all I need as I'm only going to do it once, but not sure if it's risky or not. Any advice appreciated. Cheers.

I have not.

It is risky. All your work may head for the cybernetic netherworld.
