The fact that too many people do too much shopping. I'm a collections telemarketer, and I always have to call people about their debt and credit card payments, and it increases between Nov. to Feb.

And Don't Hang Up On Me, It's YOUR Debt!!

I purely walk on by using. in the event that they are this variety for the duration of the holiday journeys think of how they could be throughout something of the 365 days. i don't prefer to waste my time attempting to alter human beings and maximum in all likelihood feeling undesirable because of the fact i could not. Ebenezer became into basically a narrative, that's all. Poppy

I hate the fact that mostly everyone is in a bad mood. No one in my family will give me any hints about what they want so i have to guess. This is why i don't start christmas shopping until a week or two before christmas. And while your out shopping for these people that make it so hard for you its 20 degrees outside. I have been listening to christmas music since before thanksgiving. Those people outside the mall that ring their bell nonstop and want your money. Oh yeah and going to visit like six different families, i just want to stay home and sleep for once.

Crowds, greed, materialism, cold weather, too many obligations, relatives that you avoid all year but have to hug, stores that display Santa before Halloween, holiday songs (why does Everyone have a Christmas album?).

The best Christmas we ever had was spent in our RV, with just our kids, in the middle of nowhere, with a campfire under the stars.

Just to clarify some things that I say here, everyone needs to be aware that I'm from Finland.

Let's see, I hate:
People stressing about buying gifts that they can't afford and no-one likes, commercialism, griping about being so late when it comes to getting the gifts and the foods, some people griping of how they have to spend the Christmas alone and other people griping about how they have to spend Christmas with people they absolutely HATE, television's way of presenting that the American way to celebrate Christmas is the only way to celebrate it, people complaining that other people should not talk about Christmas because they themselves don't celebrate it, kids whining in store that they want this and that toy/candy because it was on TV (I swear it, if I ever get kids, they won't get candy, watch or even see a TV without my constant supervision) and probably a lot more of things that I can't remember right now.

What I love about Christmas is that my whole family gathers in one place to have a good meal, spend some time together and exchange gifts to share their love and caring without any mushy "American Christmas movie" thingies involved.
*sigh* It would kill me if I would have to actually live in USA. Visiting would be interesting, though.
I guess that's all I have to say about this. Sorry about the rambling.

The whole thing! I'm not rich, so everything that has to be done to get ready has to be done by me The decorating, setting up the tree, cooking the XMas dinner--it's all on me and I live in a very small house and everybody wants to get in my way, but no one offers to help with anything.

The fact that some dorkalope says "It's the Christmas season. Be happy!"

I want to strangle them with a garland of holly!

having to go to familys houses, someone is always fighting about something, i try to work each year just to have an excuse not to have to go until most everyone is already gone, having to spend tons of cash on the kids and getting no credit for it, cause they still think santa brings the gifts.
