I have observed that people have taken so seriously about India's pathetic performance at South Africa. If one goes through the record it can be seen that it is not the first time India has been white washed in a series. India has been defeated 5-0 twice bny West Indies in 1983-84 and 1988-89, out of which one series was plyed in India. See the case of West Indies. They were finalist in the Champions Trophy 2006. However, recently they have been defeated by Pakistan 3-0 in the test series and they have also lost the One Day Match played today.

While i also know that the performance of Indian Team in South Africa was pathetic and brought shame to Indian Cricket, throwing out players from the team is not going to solve the problem. What is the need of the hour is to give encouragement to the players to perform better and help them in all the ways possible to bring the best out of them.

1.i think the weeknesses of an loosing team cant be better judged.once they comeback and start winning we can judge the weeknesses better and make a better team.
2.first thing when he(Rahul) enters into the field he should forget the coach and put his mind and try to bring the best out of the team.
3.The person who fails more than twice or once should be mercyless ask to sit.
4.chappels experimentation should stop at this stage atleast.
5.fresh talents should be found out of 100+ crores of people without giving the room for favouritism or regional bias. There by they can setup an alternative indian team which can assist crisis situations.
6.If there is an alternative talent pool available u can keep all of them aside and bring a new team and give the present team a benefit of doubt so that they can be utilised later as and when the neccesity arises.
7.u need to train the bowlers to handle the slag over.
8.young talents should be physically and mentally matured enough to play the international cricket aspecially batsmen and the allrounders.
9.Age is very important when it comes to oneday cricket sachin and ganguly can be replaced with some young blood.
10.or i can say allow them(present team and any new comers) to play their cricket and let them explore and find the rythem.
11.too much of cricket can make some of the players loose interest.
12.This is high time to think any drastic change in team as the worldcup is hardly 3 months to go.
13.i think a guinine strategy is required in selecting the probables for the world cup keeping in mind the talent, performance, fitness, teamplay, dependability in the existing team and the new comers.
14.i think chappel shouldnt be too much worried abt the outcome as it is the spare responsibility of the captain and the whole team.

The experimentations by chappel have back-fired and these have to be stopped for the time being. The youngsters must be allowed to play in the practise matches. They have to be taught about the tricks and tips of the game by the coach and other experienced players in the team. But certainly the whole squad has to take up fielding more seriously and must improve for the better. Seeing the south africans on the field should inspire the indians and there should be more intense fielding practises. The team has to stick to its basics and play proper cricket for some time until it sets into a groove, after which experimentations can begin. The players lack cofidence and must be motivated by their rival's performances and not get discouraged by it. Taking things like these into consideration, India is sure to succeed and the team has the potential of bringing home the coveted World Cup from the caribbean!

Even I was born in India, I don't know much about cricket. But when any one talks about Indian cricket Tendulkar's name come up. He must be a heck of a player. Keep him on. As for team, they should pick best players available without any favouritism and politics involvement

i think INDIAN'S are in fate period .Our indian cricketer's are now a days accoustmed to making ADDS ,and lost intrest in playing cricket and thier by lost thier form and matches. I think BCCI must take neccesary steps to control this.I think BCCI must prepare some bounce pitches in the domestic matches and this help the players in the international matches played out of the country.I think the best team that is eligible for WORLD CUP is

sehwag
sachin
dravid
ganguly
laxman
yuvraj
dhoni
pathan
zaheer
kumble
agarkar or balaji

Indian Cricket team had lost it's rytheme due to unnecessary experimentation by their coach, Mr. Chappel. A coach like Kapil Dev would do better.

i think indian cricket team is highly over-rated.some people think that they have become better over the years in fielding etc but the truth is not only india but all the other teams have also improved & the indians should realize this & raise their level & try 2 hav a professional approach 2wards the game

Who said it is a team? They are a bunch of indians who used to play what they called cricket, who by the fate of Indians happened to be at the same place at the same time.
