My doctor says that my baby is positioned with her butt down (is this breech?) But it does not feel this way because I feel as though my baby's feet are hitting my ribs area, it couldn't be her arms causing this? Also, my pain radiates all through my upper middle back and all over my ribs at times.

There may not be anything you really do beyond having someone give you a nice massage. I have heard though, of Dr's "turning" a baby; which is normally when they are breeched.

The discomfort is surely a result of how the baby is positioned, so massage and move your own tummy as much as possible!

Hope you feel better, one way or the other, its not much longer until your delivery!

It is not all that unusual to have the baby be rear end down with 9 weeks left to go. Your ribs hurt because the baby is "riding high" and hasn't dropped down into your pelvis yet. To ease the pain try laying on your left side as much as possible to take the pressure off the sore ribs. Good luck and really not much longer to go now, so don't be surprised if you are physically uncomfortable a lot at this stage, it could mean that you are having a big baby also.

it might be the babys position but it also sounds like it might be your gallbladder.i know that when my gallbladder hurts its in the same area as your explaining.you might want to talk to your doc about it.i know that having a family history of gallbladder problems and having children ups your risk for having problems yourself.try a warm bath or a heating pad on your back and if it makes it feel better its possible its your gallbladder!!
