so....we all know that getting the best answer is nice once in a while. Have you ever given an answer that you thought the asker wanted to hear, just to get 10 points and best answer...even if it wasnt what you really thought/believed?

i forgot to add, Im just curious cus A- its early and I'm bored, and B- Ive seen a lot of answers that seem to just be fishing for the 10 points, with people even saying "i want the 10 points, please choose my answer" or " what do you want to hear? yes, no? you choose, i want the points!" so Im curious as to how common that is.

I am honest to a fault, opinionated, nosey and gregarious lol. I answer questions with true life experiences or banter with the questioner. I'm not in this for the points so I only pick questions that I can relate to, or ones where I feel I can help the person (sometimes just by making them laugh)

Nah... People are so weird, I would never try to guess what they were thinking... I'd say over half of my best answers were just because when I gave a my-life-story example, they related to it. So maybe I have hit home a couple times, but not enough to assume I can read strangers by their typed questions... I do always hope for a best answer, though. I'm trying to get to level 4 before the deadline to register for your yahoo answers presents. the water bottle is MUCH cooler than a car magnet... LOL. But I'm too opinionated to not say what I really think... ♥

I have never asked the asker for the 10 points, but come, let's admit, we've all answered dumb questions for the 2 points.

Nope. The points don't really matter and if they did, I could just give 5 short quick answers and get the same points.
And I don't have to try and be the best answer. I always give just my opinion.

No. I usually am suprised when I get best answer on something. It's usually honesty that a lot of ppl look for. I totally disagreed with this one girl on whatever she was questioning/chatting about on here but I didn't put her down for her thoughts. She gave me best answer just for that.

I don't think I have done that. I usually answer with my feelings or thoughts & if I get the 10 points then yeah for me!!

No because I'm on here alot, people would know I was being fake. It's not worth the ten points. It's nicer to get them for an answer that you really meant.
