Which gaming system allows players to interact the most across the internet. Does the Wii really have that feature? I know XBOX does but it is a little expensive and considering that I wanted to get 3 of them (I'm really not sure about that... it might just be 2) I wanted to know if the Wii really does the trick when it comes to interactivity online.

I want to play with my sister and maybe another family member or close friend. Eventually I am hoping to suggest we all get a specific game system so we can all really get down and play. The wii is more fun I here and I do like the Wii-mote (or whatever its called) and the idea that non-gamers can get the game... but the XBOX can really connect to the network PC and stuff. And now they got TV shows and movies on there (I still wonder how the Cable companies feel about that with their Tivo like devices that record live tv and stream movies).

Anybody have the Wii? Xbox 360 with XBOX Live?

I had xbox live and I wasn't a big fan, however it is nice because you can have a telephone like conversation without ever having to play a game. That being said it is a little expensive. The wii does indeed have an Internet feature, however it is not nearly as expansive as xbox live. I think that since you are planning to get large amounts of them, you should wait till next year before buying either console. Because both consoles are supposed to drop in price by a hundred dollars next year, and by that time Nintendo will have their Internet system fully operational. But all things considered, I'm getting a wii before anything else.

Wii has more family-friendly games, by far. And a lot are multi-player. The alternate way of playing (not just a joystick and buttons) helps to keep younger players engaged, and older players amused. I find the Wii a lot more fun than the Xbox (I have a Wii, my brother has the Xbox). There's also more diversity in games. While the Xbox has a ton of shooters since it's geared towards more mature players, the Wii has more platformers and strategy games. You can also buy games only from their older gen. consoles! So, say you really liked Banjo Kazooie for the N64, or Donkey Kong Country for the Super Nintendo. You can buy it for your Wii, and it's stored in its memory forever. Awesome Wii Games: Okami Zelda - Twilight Princess Super Smash Bros. - Brawl WarioWare Mario Kart Mario Party 8 Super Mario Galaxy The only shooter-esque I can think of for the Wii is... Metroid Prime 3 (Strategy + Guns) Call of Duty 3 and 5 (True FPS) There's another very violent one that I can't think of right now. But it's from a series. Oh, yeah! Resident Evil 4 Hope I helped!

Get the xbox 360, the graphics in the wii are about as good as the first xbox. The xbox 360 allows you to chat with your friends and/or family while you play. As you may or may not know, you need a high speed internet connection to go online with the xbox 360. With the xbox 360, if you have a pc with windows xp and MEDIA CENTER, you can transfer pictures and music from your pc to the xbox360 hard drive. I have had the xbox 360 for about 7 months and I wouldn't trade it for the ps3! I am always on xbox live. I can send messages to my siter and brother and all of my friends. Now there is a camera you can use for xbox live. The xbox 360 seems so much more advanced than the Nintendo Wii.

Chatting with my sister and brother is like a free long distance phone call!!! You can chat as long as you like!!!

Well if you want to do this now then you should get the X-box 360. Or you could want for the Wii to go online and come out with more games that go Wi-Fi. Iw ould get the Wii now and let your people get custom to it-It is a great system. You can already send and read mail from other Wii users you have regestered. Plus the Wii is Newer than the X-box and people are dieing to play it. It is easy for non-gamers to pick it up and start playing. Wii sports is really fun and i hope they come out with a Wi-Fi version :)

There is no compraison. The 360 makes the Wii look like an Atari 2600. Spend the extra cash on a 36o pro system and you'll get more then your money's worth out of it. The games are better, the graphics are better, and the on line gaming is better then Wii or PS3. It's a simple choice.

There is no connection for play from Wii to Wii. I have 2 other family members both with a Wii and the only connection at this point is to share the Mii character that you create for yourself. For online PLAY i would go with the 360.

The Wii..... It's online gaming is free, the system and games cost less too! No need to pay for Xbox Live fees, also, the Xbox Live has a lot more M games and much profanity in the Live system....

well the wi is more family-oriented because of its clean games unlike the 360 which has a majority of M-rated games. But im just not so sure if the wii has online functionality so thats when the 360 becomes the default choice.
