because people voted against Michigan mainly because they didn't want to see a re-match. MI got screwed but whatever.

Michigan had their chance and they blew it. I don't care if you lose by 3 or 30, a loss is a loss. Besides, nobody wants to see an rematch of those 2 teams, and at the end of the day, it's about ratings and money. They would have lost money and ratings in a rematch. Florida is a more intriging game. Also, if Michigan were to beat OSU, then what do you do? Then there would be talk as to a third game to settle it once and for all because they would each have a win against the other team. It would just be a mess of Michigan played.

The score of the OSU - Michigan game was not indicitive of how much better OSU is. Take away 2 botched snaps, and the score is totally different. OSU would win the rematch by a bigger margin, because OSU is a better team with a better coach.

9 wins over teams at or above .500 vs. 6 for Michigan.
7 wins over teams with winning records vs. 4 for Michigan.
3 wins over teams in the top 25 vs. 2 for Michigan.
Won their conference title vs. being a runner-up in a conference that had a down year (don't believe me, look at how bad Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern, Penn State, and Purdue are).
That's why Florida is in there over Michigan.

Hmmm maybe because Florida won their Conference. Something Michigan clearly didn't do. The teams were tied at two in the Computer rankings.

PKThames,
It is UF not FSU. Just trying to help you save face, in case you let that slip in real life.

The "team up north" had their chance...plus they didn't win their conference, they had their chance. No, I am not saying this because we don't wanna play them again..bring em on....but, that is how it works. GO BUCKS!
