no, it's a cracker
i played a similar joke on my kid
he asked for an xbox360 when they were fairly new and a bit like turbo man(if u know what i mean)
i gave him a box covered in x's with £3.60 in it.
u should have seen his face!! and everybody elses.
i have something planned 4 my daughter this year.
a couple of years ago, on his birthday, i gave my eldest a suitcase. just the one item lying there. u should have seen HIS face. his brother was looking nervous too!
There was about £300 of stuff inside.
and by the way there was also about £100 of games in the youngest's xbox!!
good luck. i hope she don't throw it at u!!

Are you trying to tell your wife something? Like, maybe you'd like a divorce? If not, I'd suggest buying her some nice lingerie (most girls like Victoria's Secret) or a gift card to her favorite store to go along with these "gifts." Honestly, if you give her something to use so she can cook, clean or otherwise take care of you, you are telling her that it's primarily as your housekeeper that you see her. That being said, if you two REALLY need a vacuum cleaner and she's picked it out and everything, that's great. Just be sure to get her something for her alone, without regard to you, your needs, your kids (if any) or household.

This is rather cruel. I would not put the necklace inside of the vacuum cleaner. Give that to her first, and then give her the necklace. It has been my experience that jokes like this don't go over very well. Good luck.

Very cute. Hope she looks first before you sleep on the couch. Maybe she will know. You are a joking romantic. Good luck. Don't think it is cruel. Just a little different.

I hope she finds the necklace before she allows it to ruin the day. I find the humor in it. You know your wife better than anyone. Be sure that the necklace is visible to her, or not to difficult to find. Good luck and God bless****

On first reading the heading, I was going to put "she should wack you with it" however, I think that's a fun idea, as she knows your a joker she should see the funny side of it.

Nope. I would totally do something like that. The whole vacuum cleaner thing is awesome! I need to do something like that. If she understands your sense of humor, then she will love the outcome.

That is a good idea, as long as you are sure about what she likes most. What if she'd rather have the vacum than the diamond? You know better
