I Agree with Alana B (mmm I'm rhyming now, time to go to bed) Don't perm your hair it really will destroy it.
Why don't you try plaiting your hair while it is damp. Put your hair in a ponytail really high on top of your head, divide into two, then plait and leave overnight.
You might look like a giant insect, but it's a good result.

Dear god please don't perm your hair, you'll ruin it. Perms are so 80's and 70 year old lady. What's your hair like naturally? Is there any kink in it? If there is, just get some mousse or styling gel that sets. When your hairs wet scrunch it into your hair while blowdrying it. It should give you lots of waves and curls. But for the love of God don't perm your hair!

A perm or hot rollers in the morning. Or a curling iron, it shouldn't take too long, unless you have tons of hair and its very long, then I would go with the Hot Rollers.

Well known artists have created rare beauties and because of their work became world famous almost god like. If Michel Angelo had your beauty to begin with his job would have been complete before it began.
Wake up early and put your antennas in while you get ready for your day. Then depending on the outcome - increase or decrease the spray glue to give it hold.
My guess is why change?

check your local yellow pages to see if you have a SALLY'S in the hair dressers section or in the hair products section and either call them or go there, they WILL have a product that you put in your hair and it WILL curl it nice for you

roll dry hair with knee high panty hose, and sleep in them, when you take them down in the morning, your hair will be curly.
