Hi,
I think the way you grow up, means a lot about how you will sense hot and cold. I grow up in Hungary, where we have sometimes very cold weather. There is a hungarian myth (I do not think it is true, since I live in England.) that you get cold if your feet are cold. So we try to keep our feet warm. My opinion is this is just a habit, but if you get used to have cold feet, you will not catch a cold at all.
I love the weather in England, you can get used to it, (well, not to the all day rains) not to worry too much about it a lot.
If you sit and just typing on a keyboard, you get frozen quickly, if you running uphill with a big bag you will swet soon.
Thank God for flip-flops! :)
Bye now!

Hi there,
My answer is no to your question.
I have seen people walking on the street just yesterday on the 6th December ,wearing only T-shirt.For a minute I thought they lost their minds but then it bothered me for a while ,so I decided to leave my flat and walk along the Thames, just to see and feel what they do.
I must say it was very sunny, but certainly not that warm to wear only a t-shirt,however I met couple people back few days ago from Brazil, they said it is unbelievably cold. But then again as I am Hungarian this rather Autumn for me than winter.
All the best:
B

I always felt hot, night and day, winter and summer particularly until I got medication for high blood pressure and now I'm cold all the time. Family members have found the same. Perhaps you should get your bp checked.

If you're female, that would make sense. Women seem to be hot when I'm cold and cold when I'm hot.
If you're doing a lot of physical activity, you would be hot no matter what the weather. If you're overweight, the fat can act like insulation, so it could be that also.

it's not untypical. I'm sure our bodies are confused by this balmy autumn weather. Then when it gets cold we all feel it's 50 below. I tend to wear thin layers now rather than thick jumpers because I can then remove what I don't need. I wouldn't worry at all.

I often feel warm when others feel cold, I think some people are just a little different than others, I will be sitting with a Tshirt on and my babe will have a big woolly jumper on, what can you do?

that sounds normal on one hand, and abnormal on the other hand- on the one hand, your body controls your body temperature, and it may perceive the external environment to be much wamer- and you react to such as a result.
on the other hand, d'ya have any other symptoms, as it sounds as you may have some kind of infection causing a rise in temperature- talk to your GP.
