A lot of people think that Randy Orton is a really good heel because he can portray a really conceited and arrogant character, but I've noticed that they've put him in the ring against some of the most popular wrestlers over the past year, The Undertaker, Rey Mysterio, Hulk Hogan, Carlito and D-Generation X and he's just not getting any heat from the crowd.
When he won the World title from Chris Benoit, spat in Triple H's face and outsmarted Evolution on RAW week in and week out it was amazing how the crowd would erupt for him and how many RKO signs there were. The only problem was his backstage behavior (which led to his suspension) and he was pushed to hard to soon.
So based on this analysis I would say that Randy Orton would make a better face than heel. As a heel the fans don't seem to care less about him, but as a face he has the potential to be as popular as Shawn Michaels or even The Undertaker. So what do you think, stick with Rated RKO as a heel or become a face?

Orton's good as either, but the WWE always does this. They have the wrestlers flip between the two. I remember loving Steve Austin but there was a short time that everyone hated him. I think that eventually Orton will be a face again- he's an awesome wrestler and people love the good wrestlers with the amount of charisma Orton has.

Actually I like him as a heel as I like to see him getting beat up everytime, I like the face expressions he makes when he gets owned, just like a drunk. No matter what I think he is much more suited to a heel than being a face because he has the "looks" of a heel and one more thing even if he wrestles like 20+ years he can never outdo The Phenom and The Heart Break Kid.

Definitely a heel, b/c this of him being in Rated RKO has made his ratings go up a bit, I see him more often being in Rated RKO than when he was a face on his own. Maybe HE should make a WWE movie. Hey, it made John Cena's popularity go up, not to mention all of WWE's popularity. WOOOH!

na heel, as a face the smarks hated him and he got the cena crowd cheering for him, kids and zombie girls. he isa natural born heel and will go on to be a legendary heel. How people can say he sucks is beyond me, I wasn't a fan of his but I have really taken a shine to him now

Anyone, who in real life deserts the Marine Corp like Orton did dosn't deserve a job anywhere. He need a combat boot up his over-rated ass.

yes he has the potential but i dont like like him anyway,because as finishing move neckbreaker is very common.
