I love snowdays! They are the best. I remember sitting around the radio when I was little. We would all wait and wait for our school to be called. First they would start with the nearby schools and we would all complain because they were out already but our shcool was still going and then FINALLY they called our school name and we all cheered!!! Then we would go outside and have the best time every. It was ever better than a Saturday because a snowday is like a special gift that you don't expect, but you wake up one morning and there is snow everywhere and you get hopeful and then your wish comes true!! Snowdays are the best!

When I was in school we almost never had snow days. The stupid superintendent said that if his dog could go out to the bathroom then the kids could go to school. What's up with that! Like a dog would rather choose to hold it than run outside for a second. We even had to go to the playground at recess! How ****ed was that!

When I was a kid, loved them , we would play out in the snow, go sledding and build snowmen, so we probably really could have gone to school, but it was funner to play all day. A huge downfall was there was nothing to watch on TV, we watched The Price is Right and game shows......There was NO CABLE TV and cartoons only played on Saturday Mornings......(1970's)
