Your sentence will be imposed by the court having jurisdiction over you at the time of your trial. As to possible outcomes of that trial, that is best discussed with your attorney of record, not a bunch of strangers here.

A lot depends on the judge .
Basically , you are in deep dodo , especially the altered firearm , you could see federal charges on that .
See you in 2-5 with good behavior .

you will need to get a lawyer, while an assault is nothing to laugh at, the real problem lies with the altered firearm.

How was it altered? shoot gun sawed off?, handgun with serial number filed? semi auto switched to auto?

Depending on how the fire arm was altered you could be looking at some serious jail time

pretrial youre at the mercy of the arraigning judge for bond and all. All the other stuff will be worked out by your attorney and the prosecutor prior to trial to plea.

you can have someone post your bail. i don't think any diversion programs.
