i come from nigeria and the marriage lasted for 3 years.the seperation actually came with no real conflict to lay hand on,just that man wanted me to stop my University education at the final level.the refusal to stop was used as as excuse for the rejection and abandonment

Move on, you deserve someone who will treat you like his Princess!!! Don't waste any more precious time on him. He does not value or respect you. It almost sounds as if your accomplishments intimidate him and he is jealous.

If he abandon you & your child then there is nothing you can do with him, (unless if you happen to know where he is at). What you should do is get a divorce from him for abandonment and hope that they find him if you do not know where he is at and get child support., And go on with you & your childs life. Don't dwell over him because he has showed you that having him in your lives is most certainly not worth you or your childs time or energy.

I'm sorry your husband did that to you and your child.YOU should be proud of herself for standing your ground and finishing your dream and what you started.Your husband only used your education for an excuse to leave.You can do better.If he has been gone for that long I would divorce his butt and get child support to help you support your child.Please don't put your life on hold for a man who just simply walked out on his family for that long.He isn't worth it! I am so glad you didn't stop. He sounds like he is the controlling type. File for divorce, get the child support you deserve, and start a new life with you and your child. Finish your education.

He obviously didn't care about you bettering yourself. You should hit him where it hurts with child support and divorce papers and then move on with your life by finishing your education and finding a man that will take care of you.

Hun.....any man who tries to prevent you from bettering yourself....just isnt worth thinking about.....i know that sounds rash....however....trust me.....he is a loser......forget him....love yourself and baby....finish school.....and show him and everyone else that you are a strong independant woman......who will succeed!!!! go and get a lawyer to divorce him , then go back and finnish your education!!!! he does not aprechiate you . you will find somebody else who treats you with respect !
