I will get you started, but it doesn't help you if we do all of your homework.
1.Multiply 18 inches times 4=72 inches. Then to get your answer in feet you must divide 72 by 12 and you get an answer of 6 feet.
2. They give you a extra information in this one that you don't need to solve the problem. Just divide the cost of the house by the number of rooms and you will get the average cost of each room.
3. Subtract the year the Pilgrims landed on Plymouth Rock from the year gold was discovered in California and you will get your answer.

That should get you started.

to make it easier, you can times both the numbers by 100 to get rid of the decimal place. so the equation becomes: 350 / 133 now that should be a little easier. you still need to use the long division method. anyway 133 goes into 350 2 times, with a remainder of 84 (84/133) which is 12/19 so the answer is either 2 and 12/19 or 2. 6 (1 decimal place)

do it urself. but think if 1/3x=240 then u multiple each side of the equation by 3 to get x=??? and when it is 1/3 is 240 the whole is 720 and when they ask u what 1/3 of it is u either multiply my .3333333333333333333333 or divide by 3
