There are quite a few pros to legalizing marijuana, and not many cons. It would be a huge source of revenue to the government; it would put the criminal element out of business; it would free up court space; there wouldn't be any more shoot-outs at grow-ops.
The same people smoking now would be the same ones smoking if legalized. Non-users wouldn't all of a sudden become users.

properly, God created the "herb yielding seed" (Gen a million:11) for a reason, yet I won't get into His mysterious approaches. greater very nearly, there is not any "protecting it out" of the rustic. that's a weed, it grows wild all over the U.S. the reason it became into made against the regulation became into an a ways better than Mexican workers interior the southwest in the process the super melancholy. The further artwork tension became into mandatory in the process the growth interior the early 20's, yet while the melancholy hit there have been too many individuals out of artwork to allow them to undercut jobs. there became right into a heavy proliferation of marajuana use between the Mexicans, so it became into used as a concentration ingredient for deportation to guard jobs. From a private standpoint, i could somewhat see my nieces and nephews smoke weed than drink heavily. I even have buried countless acquaintances because of the fact of alcohol. the main I even have lost because of the fact of weed is what i became into conversing some minute in the past. the easy actuality is that maximum people the two do, or used to, smoke weed. that's everywhere, and it shouldn't go away. whether it became into legalized it is not like the full united states of america could be working around any further extreme than they already are. It would not substitute worplace drug policies, alcohol is criminal yet you may basically drink at artwork once you're a bartender or an airline pilot. the genuine reason it is not fairly legalized nonetheless, is that it has certainly one of those extreme proliferation fee. If it have been legalized and taxed (which may be confusing in itself because of the fact it grows like a weed) that money would not be going the place it was going. The police and courtroom structures make a significant sum from fines and drug courts, and so on. it may be like a funds decrease that they'd not recoup from the taxes, because of the fact as quickly as the legislators dip their hands in money there is not any longer a lot left over for the people who choose it. it relatively is fairly all related to the money, purely no longer the money which you will anticipate it to be approximately.

I actually think we should legalize marajuana and prostitution.
(I don't use either)
We spend so much taxpayer money on the legal system to find, arrest, prosecute, and hold people who do that stuff. Not to mention the tax revenue we could get from both industries. And with regulations, no one would have to worry about what else might be in their weed, and prostitution could be regulated so that there would be frequent testing and a reduced spread of STDs. Hell, like cigarettes and beer people are gonna do them wether they're legal or not, so why not let them go and boost the economy a bit while we're at it?

Legal -perhaps not - controlled and taxed would be better, but it should not be something that can put you can in jail an your only crime. It has always been used to put down the lower class.

I heard every side of this and have done my own research (cough). And it's better than drinking and going out and killing someone. But, if people don't stick together nothing will ever change.

makes no difference to me, just another addiction to help people kick,
on the positive, the prison system would get room for the politicians and wealthy stealing from the poor.

it is about time. It makes no sense to keep on arresting the few that choose to smoke it. Besides we need some good music again!
