Me and my friend Lou were hanging out last night nursing a case of Pabst and this show came on. Dumbest thing I ever saw. I don't even know what it was called. Tha't's it! I thought. So I go into the kitchen and grab my 12 guage. Then pumped 3 rounds into the TV. Lou got all excited , pulled out his 45 and ran off a whole clip. I'm pretty sure he hit the TV at least once. I know he clipped Ole Ernie (that's my dog) on his right ear. Ole Ernie wasn't to happy about that, let me tell you. So anyways, my goofy neighbor calls the Sheriff an he comes out, tells us it's illegal to shoot a TV. WTF? It's my TV (well....not actually. It's my girlfriend's).

What's this country coming to?

Geez, what a couple of morons! In many areas it is illegal to discharge a firearm in city limits, within certain number of feet from a public right of way, within certain number of feet of occupied structure, etc. Not to mention that you could have killed each other (which would have been the evolutionary law of natural selection at work by removing you two from the gene pool) Lucky you didn't get hauled in for animal abuse, poor Ole Ernie.

I guess the reason why your neighbor called the Sheriff is because they tought something is going on... who would not be bothered when you hear gun shots? It is like disturbing the peace so maybe that's what your neighbor reported and not you shooting the tv per se

Discharging your firearm within city limits is illegal.

You could take your TV out to a national park and unload on it if you want.

My cousin Anna likes to shoot her men after she sleeps with them. Don't fret none there now. She doesn't kill them, just wounds them. She aims for the middle, but always ends up shooting them in the foot because she's so drunk. She likes to think of herself as the black widow (named after the black widow spider get it?). They say it runs in the family. You think you and me could be kinfolk?
