I was in 4th grade, and I bought a pair of hot pink pants with neon yellow and orange lightning bolts all over them. I was so proud of them. I can't believe I actually wore something like that. I'm glad no one has any pictures of me in them!

the first thing I ever remember buying with my own money was a birthday present for my older sister (8 years older, her birthday is a week after mine so I had birthday money). She liked this perfume called exclamation, so I got her some of that, and it came with a black and white picture frame. I was soooo excited to give it to her because I bought it with my own money and she opened it and said "well...I already have some of this perfume..and the frame doesnt match anything in my room" .....So, I ran off crying. Completely heart broken. My first purchase was a major bust.

If you mean with money I earned at a regualar job it was a second hand bicycle. Otherwise it was candy.
