I would avoid it, and all though it is hard to pass the infection from woman to man, it is easier to pass it from man to woman. So, once you get over it you could get it again.

Plus, taking antibiotics causes yeast infections in some women, and if you are one of these women having sex with a yeast infection is not ideal.

Christ, love, why would you want to?! I was in so much pain every time I had one that sex was the last thing on my mind.
I'm not aware of any reason why you shouldn't, except risk of further infection, and peeing isn't always going to negate that risk.
If you want to get rid of it, permanently, go and get yourself some cranberry pills and some pro-biotics, both high quality and high potency. Take them regularly and you should be just fine.

You can, but why would you want to? You can transfer the infection to your boyfriend, he can give it back to you, it's not pretty.

Just stop doing it for the time being, and take ALL the antibiotics the doctor gives you. To prevent them in the future, take a cranberry pill. My mom takes one every day, and she said that she hasn't gotten any UTI's or anything like that in years!

Sure, it's nothing contagious though I find that it is a tad uncomfortable.
