naturally it would depend greatly on the type of dye used. Most dyes have been used for centuries and come from plant materials, like oils, pastes and othe extracts. Being organic, it is vey unlikely they will be explosive, however they will boil, spit and othe dangerous reations.
If they are chemicals, artificial in nature, then it is very possible they could be explosive, corrosive, radioactive or any other dangerous materials classification you can think of.

yes if you take blue jeans and hold them up to a natural gas bunsone burner they will explode


you have to freeze the pants so they dont light on fire before they explode
