I just want to know if I did it correct, I have finals on Monday and I am studying and going thru all of the review sheet. thanks!

3x100+40+5

=345

Yes, you're doing it right.

I think you know the rules but it doesn't hurt to recap it:
Rule 1: Simplify all operations inside parentheses.
Rule 2: Simplify all exponents, working from left to right.
Rule 3: Perform all multiplications and divisions, working from left to right.
Rule 4: Perform all additions and subtractions, working from left to right.

the answer is correct. The procedure is correct. Firts multiply and them you add. so:
3x10^2+4x10+5
3x100+40+5
300+45
=345
