I'm afraid they're going to cut even more than last time - book 5 was the longest, after all.

I though all of the other HP movies, except the 4th movie, was horrible. Finally they got it right in the last movie though. However they did cut out a lot of the book, and I was kinda dissapointed, but thinking about it from the directors persepective, they had to creat 1 new scene to cover almost 200-300 pages, so I think they did a really good job. In the new movie though, I don't know how they're going to do it, Harry is thinking almost the whole book, and it is a very emotional book, so they'll most likely have a lot of shouting... but if the new movie has the same director as the 4th one, I think it will be okay!

Why is Harry Potter the only fantasy movie that doesn't have multiple editions on dvd? When they filmed LOTR, they released one set on two discs and another on four, with extra scenes. Now Narnia has done something similar. Why can't they do that with Harry Potter? There are pleanty of fans who want to see every scene, no matter how long it takes. I'm afraid they will cut WAY too much out of the fifth book. There were so many great scenes, and there's just not time to put them on film (so they say)

There is so much information in the books, that if they tried to fit it all into a movie the movie would be 8 hours long. I was disappointed with what they cut out of the last movie too, but I understand why they have to do it. For entertainment purposes, they have to make the movie enjoyable for everyone - even people who haven't read the books or seen the other movies.

i had a bad feeling that the next movie has even more cuttings. Not to mention that the director has already cut a lot of good stories from the rest of the episode. that's why everyone felt disappointed with that movie compare to LOTR. For me, as long as the movie has some good and exciting scene, that's fine with me

I was very disappointed in the 4th movie. They cut almost everything out that was important to the plot. I have no faith that they will not do the same to book 5. But I will still be waiting in line to see it though!

they'll most likely cut off parts to it, if they did it for the other ones they will do it for this one. If you've read the fifth book you'll know its the longest one out of all of them, it would be preety cool if they follow the guideline of the book but I think the movie would end up being a bit too long. Nonetheless I hope it turns out to be great.

I have seen the trailer, and the fountain looks exactly like I pictured it, so I have very high hopes. The trailer looks very exciting. I don't think it's fair to judge before the movie comes out. And my goodness.....isn't it amazing how many critics there are when they themselves have no idea how much work goes into these movies, or how they have to decide what stays and what goes. I am very excited about movie 5 and can't wait to see it!

this movie, also like the 3rd & the 4th is gonna cut down a lot of important parts from the book which wiil make the story seem very dumb, confusing, boring & utterly stupid..
i'm sure it simply won't match the book, which is awesome !!

The books are too massive to bring them fully to the screen.
You would have to do a Masterpiece Theatre approach to this and produce 26 episodes PER BOOK to do it justice
