Why are deer so particularly attracted to the willow tree?

Are they?? The only thing I could think of is that willow bark contains the active ingrediant of aspirin - maybe they self medicate (not as silly as it sounds, honest).

Is this really true?? I am planting willow trees throughout Pennsylvania then.. I am so tired of them being attracted to the hood of my cars.
