It is called PASS (post abortive stress syndrome) I've had it for ten years and still counting. The killing of our unborn children is a lasting factor on a mother's life.

Please feel free to contact me if you need to.

Those aren't necessarily the feelings that a person is going to have after this procedure. Some women may experience shame, fear of repurcussions, fear of being judged, loss, etc. Some women may not care at all. They view what they've had done as a way to protect themselves and possibly a future human being, from unneccessary pain and/or suffering or from a possibly 'messed up' life. The prospective father may also feel either way. What's best for one partner isn't always what's best for both. However, there is really no easy answer. Ultimately, it IS a loss. You can view this from a Christian perspective, or a scientific perspective. You can view it in any way you choose. No one person is going to have the same feelings as the next. Maybe if you or someone you know is feeling so badly, it would be a good idea to speak to a counselor or someone who can help you/whomever you speak of, sort through these feelings.

Dan - usually a name given to a male - I'm assuming, you've never had an abortion.
If you are a female, and you actually have these feelings, you need to forgive yourself and maybe talk to a counselor to help you get over the grief.

Because society says you should feel quilty for saving your own life from going down the toilet at such a young age. Learn from it, get over it, move on and be happy, you did the right thing.

Sounds like you're preaching as opposed to asking a valid question.
