I have a Rottie/Rhodie mix, she's 8 months old and she's awesome but they need lots of training and they are super-strong. I guess it all depends on where you live (like on a farm, in an apartment, etc) and how much patience you have. Having a puppy is like having a newborn baby. It's a lot of work. If you don't like getting up in the middle of the night to take your puppy out, you might wanna adopt an older dog that't already trained.

A lot about most of them except those in the toy group.
In the past, I've owned Shepherds, Collies, Dalmations, Golden Retrievers, Border Collies, Huskies, and Labs. I currently own Rottie's and a Sheltie.

I don't like the way pit bulls look at all, but the one we had was so sweet. Cocker spaniels look so cute, but I don't think they are very friendly. Oddly enough, I fell in love with a mini dashund we had, but she was so difficult to train and barked wayyy too much.
