If you have installed it from a disc make sure you have followed the instructions properly and not put your webcam lead into a usb port till after instalation as it has to be done this way to detect it. I would suggest going into control panel, add or delete programs, delete the webcam and start from scratch. There is also a webpage for thrust webcams where you can download drivers as well as updates and this can be found from google.

If you have a webcam then you should have the software as well, you must install the software first and then follow the on-screen instruction's. wait until you receive the software prompt before inserting the cable into the computer's USB port, then complete software and hardware installation, it's that easy no need to download any driver as it's already on the CD-ROM disk that came with the webcam. good luck

If you have Windows XP, then you should have it Plug and Play. If that isn't working, then when it asks you for the "install from location", select the location where the install file(s) is(are). That should work. Otherwise, just contact the company you got the webcam from. They should help.

Check for other versions of the driver and download them.
If it is USB make sure it is NOT plugged in before you install the driver!
Or ignore the crappy windows installer, and use the program you downloaded.

i think that these product are plug and play, so if you got xp, when you plug the webcam it will automatically detect it and search for the driver, and then it will work...
