The kind of present my brother and his wife will be getting us.
The money he would have spent on us is being sent to pay for a proper toilet in the street for some people somewhere in India. We take such things for granted. In Britain we live in the top 10% of the world for living standards, do you really need another pair of socks?

no my sister in law spends a fortune on her kids, her floor is covered with presents. I'd say she spends well over £1000 on the 2 of them. All that money she spent is a waste because they don't even have jobs. I don't know why they don't save their money up for a deposite on a house. I know she wants them to have nice things but the one is becoming ungrateful and wonders what else you've bought him. Why don't you ask people to give you money instead and then you could give it to charity. I always like a pair of socks though because I can never find a matching pair, I think socks should be made all the same.

That's a wonderful idea for a gift! A proper toilet could solve a great deal of problems--reducing water-borne illness, and of course the sense of dignity a human being has to have to do well in the first place.

I really need a new banjo. I really do. I need to do some recording and my banjo is broke. I need a new banjo but if I had nowhere to do poos I might feel a little different. How many lavvies could you build with the value of a banjo anyway? A few, I bet. Perhaps you have a point.

I do need some socks, a new gun, a Hummer H2, a nintendo Wii, a leatherman multitool, some new CD's and a DVD or rwo, and about 1 million bucks.
Why should I clean up someone elses mess?

Yes, and I tell that to people often. Instead of buying me a present which I usually don't need, send the money to the less fortunate but they usually ignore my suggestion.

A bike. I need the exercise, I've been eating too much but hate jogging. Biking is fun and also gets you slim. I wouldn't mind one of those then.
