Throw it in! Why not. Who cares what strangers think of you while your on vacation at the beach? If you feel uncomfortable, you don't have to actually wear it.

I personally think it's not right for a man to wear anything like that, except a kilt...Only if you're Scottish, that is.
A man in a skirt just looks wrong. Many people would get the wrong impression of him, if you know what I mean.
Sorry if you don't like this opinion, but I know many people who would totally agree with me (especially as I have a lot of military mates)
In this day and age, it would certainly be accepted, but it still doesn't look right. Shorts are the only good option. I had a bit of respect for david beckham until he started wearing skirts, sarongs and diamond earrings. He looked so odd and stupid after that. I can't stand him now.

Where are you going? In many Asian countries, men wear skirts all the time, and it's considered "traditional" dress. On the other hand, in other tropical areas, such a thing is a major taboo, and might get you and your mate unwanted attention. Men the world over are very insecure for the most part, and tremble at the thought of not conforming, so choose carefully what you do.

Yes if you are scottish. Well a man wearing a skirt apart from a kilt looks odd but if he feels comfortable in it and does not mind people staring, why not? He's going on holiday so he should be able to relax, unwind and enjoy himself . It's a holiday so he should be able to break way from the norm should he choose to do so.
Have fun.

I think that whatever he chooses to wear will be acceptable. As a male gorgeous fluffpot he will be able to carry off any style or fashion accessory, and probaly boost the use by males.

Sarongs are generally unisex, so it'd be acceptable in the places where they are traditionally worn.
Just don't try wearing it in New York.

Good luck. The real question is: do you want to be seen with Mr.Fluffpot when he's wearing his sarong?

If he's that gorgeous I'm sure he can carry it off.
There's something about a man that's confident enought o wear his own style that is just so sexy! So keep an eye on him!
