Most likely, not until about a month before Season 4 is set to begin. Studios tend to plan that so that they can create buzz for their show's new season.

Only two series were made. The 1978 original series of 17 episodes, and the 1980 relaunch of 10 episodes.
There seems to have been some half-hearted attempt at doing some kind of new episodes recently... but they look like an aborted love child of Babylon 5 and Buck Rogers. Why anyone would waste time with a show like this when there are great things like Doctor Who out there to watch is, frankly, beyond me.
Buy the original series of battlestar instead and be happy.

YEAAAHHHH that's precise! YOU tell THEM!!! My cable community dropped the Sci-Fi channel, I switched quickly after, yet i did no longer decide for to initiate observing interior the direction of the third season. i thought, "do no longer complication, i will in basic terms capture it on dvd". and that i'm nevertheless waiting to capture it on dvd!!!!!!!!!!!

I was told it is out very soon in the UK you can buy them in from USA if you want. I have some downloaded though
