Being in bed when I was 6 and my Dad waking us all to give us chips after the pub when a chip shop came to our village!! Everytime I smell vinegar It takes me back!

Mostly remember birthdays and Christmas mornings as a child great times. The excitement of waking at 2am and finding a filled pillowcase at the end of my bed and getting told to go back to sleep by Mum in case Santa found us awake!

When I was a girl we didn't have much money but, I still always enjoyed spending the holidays with my family... my sister is 8 years older than me... and she would even make doing the dishes fun ....we'd be at the sink and she's prop a christmas carol book behind the faucet...and we'd sing songs ..doing the dishes. She has lived in Florida since I was 10. And we only see each other about every 5 years...but, I cherish my memories with her. Have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

I won a radio contest 7-29-79 from a radio station. It was originally suposed to be a date with a DJ and Eddie Money ( I swear this is true). The arrangements got screwed up, and the DJ made it up to me. We went, via limosine, to several popular night spots. I would have given anything to go out with him again. Since it was a promotional thing for the station, I was afraid to ask him if he wanted to. I also thought, regardless, if he wanted to go out with me again he would ask. He didn't ask me out again, but I had a blast!

Of being so bloody good at what I did......

Of people really relying on me to do my work ~ in some cases for their health and life......

For having the health and energy to carry on at this for extended periods ~ by the day and daily over weeks.

It gave me a reasons to feel good about me being me.
