IQ will only help you in qualifying to become a hairdresser as you need to learn all the biology concerning hair and its growth, although IQ is not what matters in an actual hairdressing career...

Hairdressing requires creativity, communication & problem skills rather the a high IQ enabling you to maybe understand advanced mathematical equations. Just because someone has a high IQ doesn't mean they'd be creative and therefore a good hairdresser, additionally maybe your high IQ wouldn't help you being a good hairdresser as you may not to be able to hold a conversation about what your client wants to talk about!

It seems this question is either a waste of time for something trying to take the mick off out hairdressers or if it real, are you blonde?

Beauty shop owners and operator can earn loads of money. It is not IQ that is lacking with hairdressers, it is the unpredictable behavior and moody personality.

I own a shop and can not find a hairdresser. I am not the only shop owner who has this problem. It is typical. So if you are going to open your own shop be sure you can handle personnel issues with the hairdresser temperment and personality. And examine your own.

Good Luck

I don't think you have to be stupid to be a hairdresser, if that's the job you want, being clever isn't going to stop you. I know most of them chose hairdressing because they are not good academically but you can always be the exception. There's nothing wrong with being clever. If you are that intelligent, why don't you open your own salon?

Either you are putting yourself down or you are trying to be clever, which I doubt. I think a hairdresser has a pretty good IQ- we look for them, don't we?

Thats a bit of a horrid question, hairdressers can be unintelligent, they have to work out quantities for chemicals for dying hair and things like that, you couldnt do that if you were thick, also they have to be creative.

My daughters will in simple terms be allowed to marry adult men 8 years older than them. this is extra helpful if the female is youthful than the guy as she has in simple terms a constrained form of years to bear forth infants. i could be high-quality if my sons needed to marry a widow or divorcee.
