the best colon cleanser is magnesium oxide! nothing beats it! it completely cleans all the 'not good bits' out of your colon. But it really is pointless to do this unless you're going to change your diet as well. (this is a great way to kick start any new diet!) Make sure that you drinks heaps of water when using magnesium oxide, as the water 'activate it'.

It's best to cleanse the colon over 2 weeks. Take 5ml of mag ox, everyday for the first week, every other day for the second week, at the end of the second week (start of the third week) take it both days. It'll LITERALLY clear you out, you may want to take some time of work if you're using this!

Also... if you want to be ultra clean - for the best CLEANSE possible take herbs such as black walnut and wormwood. These are known for their anti-parasitic properties, so if you have any nasty bugs inside you, they'll soon be gone! Take some good antioxidants to help strengthen your immune system while giving the colon it's clean out... to help strengthen your body!

all the best!

Renew Life makes one. It has all the cleansing herbs, plus things to alleviate the cramping they can cause. A good, gentle cleanse. If you've never done a cleanse before, they recommend you start with one called First Cleanse, then do a specific cleanse. For the colon, that would be Cleanse Smart.

When cleansing, you need to take a fiber supplement and drink plenty of water, so you don't reabsorb the toxins you're trying to get rid of.

Here's their site: http://www.renewlife.com/ Click on the "where to buy" tab to see how to buy online or find a retailer in your area.

Mannacleanse works very well to cleanse and improve the overall health of the colon. The thing that I liked best is that you didn't have to camp near the bathroom waiting for it to kick in! I have a very sensitive stomach and this is the first one that I tried that didn't make me feel ill. I will add a link to product information about it.

Hydrocolonic therapy. Are you looking for a product or treatment? Look for herbal laxatives. By the way, it's spelled colon.

Psyllium ovata.

It has a mechanical action -- causing the colon to retain moisture -- rather than a chemical action.
