There are many different ethnicities within a culture. And, there can be different cultures within an ethnicity. It gets pretty technical.

It depends. I have three, in order by amount--Eastern Cherokee, Irish and Melungeon. Melungeon is a mixed ethnic group from the Southeastern US, and includes the first two along with descent from Sephardic Jews (Spain, Portugal and Morocco in this case) that ended up shipwrecked on the Carolina coast. I usually identify as Cherokee though, seeing as that's the most I have (yes, even with bleached hair.)

I could technically say I'm "Black Dutch" though--it's a local term for the Melungeons.
