Eyewitness Handbooks-Aquarium Fish by Dick Mills is an excellent book! It is very detailed and has close up color pictures of the fish. It tells everything you ever wanted to know about fish.

The best book I can recomend is Dr. Axlerods atlas of freshwater fish. Have a look at this site for imformation. http://www.tropicalfishfinder.co.uk/books_detail.asp?id=64
I use it as a fish identification book in my pet store.
