is mugging of theory and vommitting in exams are an needed....does this really test our tallance?????

No, it is a poor system.
However, studying will improve your spelling.

No it doesn't..and thats the reason why most of the companies hiring new recruits don't trust on the marks scored by the students in their boards or in their college too ( some exceptions are there)...
what we as a student need is not mugging but but understanding what is there in the course....but one can't make this an excuse for not studying at all ( as most people do)....you don't need to get a good score in the exams ...if you understand the concept and express it in proper manner in the exams well you are doing your part...
