The authority of the President stems from the Constitution. If he violates it and his oath, and people, 20 yr old people with their whole life ahead of them die, is he a murderer?
It was premeditated.
Insulting me is not answering the question. I am a veteran and I take soldiers and what they are asked to do, especially when asked to die, seriously.
Did Bush?

I would answer a resounding YES to your question. I do feel he should be held accountable for his actions. He led our soldiers into war based on a lie...and they died in vain. That is definitely premeditated and he should not get away with it!! I'm surprised more military families aren't outraged with this. I feel so bad for our troops...they're good men and women who lay down their lives for us. I pray they all come home safely to their families.

No one with a true conscience would send young men and women to war without good reason. I believe Bush had significant enough evidence to believe there was a threat. He took a proactive step to protect our country and is standing firm by his decision. I respect that in a leader. Smaller men would bend to the pressure of popularity. I have no doubt that he mourns each and every death of a soldier as do we all. There lives were not in vain. Bush is not a murderer just as I am not a murderer for supporting the war...

As a soldier would you have asked FDR the same thing? Hey it was just a european war all said and done. The Japs would not have attacked if we just gave them everything, Right? Big Bill the CIA the FBI and congress knew they were there, The Brits andthe French had similar information. The Russians still say they are there. The UN said they were there and gee they know everything. He is a leader and did something to many are doing nothing. You did something once as well and for those days I say thank you. Today I look at you with distain

He will find a way to justify it. Look he justified the war on Iraq as war on terrorism for 9/11. How many people bought into it? How many people are asking him where is BEN LADIN?
They are just content screaming STAY THE COURSE because that's what Bush said.

You raise a good point, if his motives were personal and he lead our military into battle knowing this, then can he be "Impeached"- meaning to bring an official to trial on a charge of wrongdoing. Doesn't this claim of wrongdoing have a higher priority than what Pres. Clinton was charged with???

All men lie. It's a fact. They don't care about lying and don't feel guilty about it, so to them---the deaths aren't murder.
