I think maybe a lot of Americans confuse him with Hugh Grant.

Plus they don't actually know about his domestic policies, or his ongoing battle with old Labour and Gordon Brown.

Tony Blair comes across as being a smarter version of Bush, and with a more pleasant accent, so I guess we dislike him less than we dislike Bush. That doesn't mean we support his decision to enter the war. I believe that our last election demonstrated that Americans are no longer in support of Bush or this war.
I'm sure that some of your tax dollars are going to support the war, but, don't worry, we're getting most of the money from China.

Supporting American soldiers is not the reason your taxes are going up. I think if you look around you can find alot of reasons. Starting with your European friends. The European Union is a flat out disaster. Every country in it is having economic trouble. If your going to play follow the leader, at least stay up front with the leader. The end of the line gets whipped around pretty bad.

"Yo, Blair". Is that a statement of respect?

If a politician gives away his country's interests because he craves approval from another, of course his foreign counterparts will take his gifts. But I doubt whether this will make them respect or like him.

Long-term friendship between the United States and the United Kingdom, which I would like to see, will not continue unless there is a fairer, democratic and reciprocal relationship, as recent statements emanating from the US State Department appear sensibly to recognise.

I don't support him. He sounds just like the President, which means I don't like Blair's policies, either.

Besides, I am an American, so I couldn't really care less about the leadership of England. There do seem to be many Americans who do support him, however, so I certainly understand why you are asking this question.

i could be taken aback if many knew that GB replaced into your fool PM. remember although: maximum of those suckers in basic terms have been given into politics as quickly as TMZ all started posting comments on Obama. previously that, they in basic terms knew that we've been residing in hell because of fact the Republicans have been doing each thing that they might bypass screw human beings over and their minds are way too open to even evaluate that in line with probability, in basic terms possibly, Obama, like Bush, is a puppet for the economic employer of the worldwide. they are going to ultimately decide who the PM of england is as quickly as they carry about a pop-icon to have because of fact the puppet around the Atlantic. i'm keen to guess that maximum of them don't know which united states has had a woman in value (PM or President) first...

I just like him because every time George Bush calls Blair comes running into the room like a puppy to see what his master wants,it's kinda funny. Other than that he just seems a decent sort.

Many Brits love him, some that feel he will not be sending a bigger check so that they can sit on their a$ses so they hate him. He is realistic the money has to come from somewhere. They want it to be a social and dependent mess. They hate the proposition on the NUkes as they hope the UK is the next 3rd world nation.
