I really don't want to be negative about the team (I'm a diehard fan, just so you know) but do you think we should just can the season now, get the worst record in the NBA (which we are on pace for) and draft Greg Oden in the draft??? I really hope they turn it around soon.

I answered this question before, so here's what I wrote:

I think the Celtics are likely to have a repeat of last year, with a resulting record that's significantly below 500. Then, if they turn out this way, I think it would likely benefit them in the draft, as long as Danny Ainge doesn't go and make some ridiculous picks and trades again.
Next years draft is supposed to be very strong, and yes, Oden is likely to top the list of prospects, but the top 10 picks are said to be some of the strongest in the past couple years, so even if the C's don't get Oden, they could get Durant, Wright, Noah, Thabeet, Budinger (my personal fave), etc.
I think the C's shouldn't go 0 and 82, obviously, but I think if they don't have the best record in the league, it wouldn't be horrible next year.

Well, just to say I am a celtics fan too, but I think that they should trade Pierce for some money and a decent big man. Then yes, they should just go for the draft. Even if we don't get the number one pick, we could get Oden or even Tyler Hansbourogh from UNC.

The team has a lot of young talent, and if they get develpoed properaly they wont need oden to win a championship. It would still be nice to get him though, plus getting the worst record does not gaurentee the first pick in the draft.

well this was the same tactic they had a few years ago when they thought that they would get tim duncan and instead they got the second pick and no duncan so the celtics are not guaranteed the first overall pick by tanking in their season the whole thing is based on a lottery in other words some luck is involved

it relatively is a physically powerful question for Lakers fan, i'm no longer a Lakers fan yet i think of all of us know how is their attitude. we've a set that eradicated in Dallas we've a set it relatively is assume to be a coming up rivalry, and individuals analyze LeBron/D-Wade to Kobe in Miami. we've a set it relatively is your historic rival, that have face against one yet another in infinite NBA Finals interior the Boston. i think of I did each and all the explaining for the Lakers regardless of i'm no longer a Lakers fan lol. i'm no longer able to declare although lol.
