Where do you think mankind would be without intelligence? What do you think the world would be like? Do you still think we would rank highly in the animal kingdom? Or would we be towards the bottom? Would the world be better of? The same? Worse?

I meant to say "off" not "of"

I would like to remind one of the answerers that intelligence and ego are not the same nor do they alternate at all ever.

Without intelligence, the human race would be in the forests scratching ....... like monkeys. One possibility is it might already be extinct due to the absence of physique to survive in forests........ I mean it would have evolved so differently that we couldn't recognise it as human!!

Humans would not be able to function without intelligence or common sense. I don't think mankind would even have been created if there was no intelligence because we have a genius God who uses his common sense and intelligence to do all that he has. The world wouldn't have been created and no we would not even know where to rank alongside the animal kingdom (we would have been eaten by lions or tigers). Of course, we'd be at the bottom that's a no-brainer, I mean we wouldn't be able to think of ways to escape from the animals that wanted to eat us (it'd even be a miracle if we even survived). No, the world wouldn't be better off because God made us to take care of nature and the animals. The animals will be extinct after we died out, so it'd be worse.

Our evolutionary predecessors, homo erectus, and our mysterious relatives, homo neanderthalus, were both equally capable with primitive tools and could easily survive Without our increased intelligence, we would become alike to one of these species, who had a strong place in the animal kingdom. While, without intelligence, we wouldn't have our systems, our buildings or our weapons, we would have a high place of hunter/gatherer in the animal ecosystem

I think that without intelligence or ego we would be far more in touch with our emotional and with ourselves as spiritual beings. I think that we would be more accepting of others and the world around us instead of constantly questioning everything and needing to put logic and reason around everything that happens. I don't know if we would necessarily be better off, but I think we would be happier.

other animals would have dominated us if it wasnt for our inteligence since many animals have far more superior abilities than man(physical abilities)according to law of nature"the survival of the fittest"the animals could have outclassed us in population and who knows we may have even become extinct!!!i think the world would be better off without humans!!!

Where would we be....? on the Jerry Springer show! hehe!

It's actually a very good question. We would probably be outranked by other animals...we wouldn't have the technology, so we'd probably be living like cavemen.

I think we would be nice little monkeys, minding our own monkey business. The world would be a quiet and verdant place, no pollution, no wars - only some local monkey-wars for banana-picking rights. The world would be all right - and so would we!
