I have traveled to many lands and seen many things. I have been where people starve to death every day. I have seen the sick receive no medical care and are left to die. I have seen mothers leave their babies along the road because they could not care for them. I have seen people walkink for days and weeks and hve no place to go.

IThis is some of what i have seen. I do ask myself what is life worth?

Ken,

I am writing to you to say sorry for what Arrabbiato wrote to you.
See she has some psychological problems and stopped taking her medication. She is a little girl that thinks she is a Black Man. She gets angry and posts a lot of racist comments on this site. Once she is back on her medication she will be better.. The best thing to do is report her for being hurtful in her comments, this way Yahoo will remove her from this site. If you click onto her picture you can see all the racist things she is saying. I just hope the medication starts to work again, a little girl thinking she is this big Black Man really gets difficult to deal with... So just be thankful you are not like Arrabbiato...

Life is a trial of individual resources and opportunities. The real worth is the reward in the afterlife of one's efforts in utilizing them according to The Creator's rules.
For example, you have acquired ABILITY to witness these situations, what you DO about them increases or decreases your own life's worth (afterlife). Even the concern you've shown by posting this question counts in your favour.
This is Islam.

Life is about love, peace and equality. It is not about how to receive, but how you give to others who needs it the most.

It is about giving peace and achieving peace within, knowing that you have done the right thing at the end of the day.

It is about being equal, no matter what race, gender and face you have

You have seen much, so you wonder if its worth it?
Did you abandon your child?
Are you sick and being left to die?
Are you happy?

Maybe you should try helping these people in need. You might not be able to do much, but to that one person you do help, life will be worth living again
