If you are using Windows Xp then it should automatically detect your video card because it has a more complete line of video drivers. If you are using older versions of windows then you have to use the video driver disc that comes with your video card. Or you can download a driver from the internet.

When you say video card, which video card? All cards come with a CD called the Driver CD. You must insert and install the driver from the CD that accompanies the Card in order for your Computer to recognise it. These drivers are specific to operating system. Let me know if you have more information to throw in here so I can help you get your card up and running. It's a breeze.

Install the drivers of the video card. If it is the onboard video, then the drivers are available in the motherboard CD that accompanied your motherboard or the system when you bought it. Incase you have installed a seperate video card, then that video card would have come with a CD which contains its drivers. Install the drivers and reboot your PC. The system will detect the video card.
