Jordan is between Syria, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Palestine.
Jordan is a very small country, but there are lots of things to see, in addition to what Chana said earlier I would like to add Jerash which is a city of Roman ruins, and Wadi Rum camping in the desert if you like that sort of thing.
Amman is nice to see, and the Dead Sea.
Enjoy

It is just across the Dead Sea from Israel.

Be sure to see Amman for a day or two, (museum, nightlife, antiquities), travel down the King's Highway (the path of Moses and the Israelites, the 3 kings of Christian faith) with so much to see along the way, and plan on at least 2 full days in Petra. There is Aqaba on the Red Sea, if you like the coast and water activities.
