i was wondering im 21 weeks right now can my baby smell SMELLS like food wise?

this is my first so i hope this dont sound silly but if thay cant smell how does some chemicals harm them in there?

the only thing your baby would be smelling is amniotic fluid...it breathes and ingests it while in the womb
they tell you to keep clear of harsh chemicals because whatever is absorbed into your skin and goes through your blood stream that is shared with the baby will in turn effect the baby...and considering they dont have an immunity system that is developed enough, they are more likely to be harmed from the chemicals

I dont think so, but they can be harmed if chemicals etc... are absorbed through your skin. Thats why they say dont use harsh chemicals for cleaning etc...
