Trying to load a game, what does the crossed box actually mean?

If it is in HTML (Internet Explorer) then it is showing that an image should be there but cannot be displayed for some reason. However it sounds like you are trying to load a flash game and do not have the plugin installed...

That the file couldn't load for a reason or another.

Either the server choked and couldn't get you the file,
or you don't have a plugin that it requires for you to load it.

It is something that the computer can't or won't load. Basically it means missing information. It is best not to click on it. Sometimes it is smiley central and you don't want that in your computer!

Its trying to find an image that it expects to be in a specific place, bit for some reason its not

had this problem! go to tools, internet options, security, move the security level bar down below medium, this worked for me the problem did start when i was loading photos, but this action cleared it

sometimes if you have to many other programs running it can not open certain things make sure all other programs are off try again or your pc does not support that type of file.
